Most internet marketers are familiar with ezine articles as a site that's used to generate target traffic to their website or blog and build quality backlinks to optimize their websites for the search engines ,but with a little imagination, you can extract a lot more profitable information out of ezine articles.
What is the first image that catches your eyes when you visit the ezine articles website ? For me it's the article categories at the center of the page. Most of us click on the exact category we are interested in to either find a sub category or to research the articles listed under that category before we submit our own articles. However, if we spend a little more time on the site ,then there is a lot more we could learn.
After you click on an article under a sub category ,you can learn about the popularity of the article if you scroll down to the "Please Rate This Article" button. Just above this button ,you can gauge the popularity of the article by glancing at the number of times the article has been viewed. This will give you an idea about what keyword is working best when connecting with audience in this sub category or niche.
If you look at the resource box that leads up to a website or landing page of the writer , then you can discover affiliate products under that sub category. Most articles use the resource box to point to a landing page that sells an affiliate product in their niche ,though, not all the products are worth your time. How do you know which products are making money and which ones are not?
If you click on the name of the author adjacent to the title of the article and find twenty or more articles under his/her name in that category ,then there is a pretty good chance that the product is making money.A double verification to this rule is looking up the keywords of those articles in google. If there are several google adwords ads running under the keywords , then you can be certain that there's money to be made in that niche under that keyword.
The process may seem more time consuming than it actually is ,but it works pretty well for picking up products that are already selling well. Now if it sounds a little tiresome , then you could automate the process by employing a software I use to find affiliate products under absolutely any niche and keyword. This one is called micro niche finder. This software does a lot more than finding you hot affiliate products under any keyword , for example it brainstorms the hottest keywords of the week, month season for you and gives you the search counts, exact matches ,ad costs ,all at one go and also tells you how much realistic chance you stand to make money with each keyword. In fact, the software does a lot more than that , but that's beyond the topic of this post.
Presently , the software is priced at $67 , but James is planning to launch a 4th version shortly to be followed by a 5th version thereafter and charge the customers on a monthly basis ,though, the buyers before the price increase will get all the updates for free and no monthly charges at all.Isn't that sweet ?:)
Anyway, coming back to where we started , you don't really need the software to uncover profitable affiliate products from the web. You can simply use the vast amount of resources on ezinearticles and google as a guiding site for that and save time and money on a product that isn't worth your time and effort.
