How to Design Websites Within Minutes

Could your affiliate marketing business churn out more profits if I were to show you how to design websites within minutes ? And when I say minutes, I mean minutes , not hours! I am going to show you how a simple website building software can be used to design your own websites at break neck speed.

These are professional looking websites that can compete with any website designed with costly website building softwares , but are comparatively much easier to build and modify. You need absolutely no knowledge of html or any other language to design your own websites.Once you learn how to design websites fast, it can become a hobby that can earn you a lucrative income just by designing websites. Let's get started.

Login to your wealthy affiliate members area. On dashboard you will notice a Site Rubix link at the top.Site rubix -website builder is a software that uses drag and drop technology to create websites within minutes. Click on the Site rubix link. This will pop up a new window with the site rubix website builder software. Click on the "Create New Site" button on the left menu as shown in the following screenshot.

It will take you to a page with many website templates to choose from. Here you will be asked to give your site a name in the 'Site Attributes' box at the top of the page and select a template.I named my site "Online Wealth Vault" , chose a template with a blue banner and gray navigational bar and clicked on the "Create Site" button at the bottom of the page.This brings me to the template on which I will build my site.The templates inside wealthy affiliate are already optimized for search engines.Hence, when you learn how to design websites using site rubix website builder and follow simple instructions, your website will be automatically compatible for the major search engines.

At this stage, all I can see is the simple skeletal template with a blue banner and gray navigation bar that I picked , but within minutes it will be fleshed out to accommodate the new menu items and layouts that I will add to it. You can change the banner or the template by clicking the buttons I have circled in the image below.I am going to stick to this template for now.




Click on the "New Menu Items" to add menus to the navigation bar.This will pop up a box to add text ,url or select a page as shown in the image on the left.Add the menu text in the text box as you would like it to appear in the navigational menu.For example I added "affiliate Marketing" in the text box for the link under the home to appear as Affiliate Marketing.


In the url , we will need to add an html link.Don't freak out :-) All you have to do is write the website url followed by a right slash and the text and an html extension ,for example I added http://www.onlinewealthvault.com/affiliatemarketing.html in the url box. Click on Save when you are done and it will appear in the navigation bar.Add as many menu items as you want.You can drag and drop to change the position of the menu items. I have added four pages for this site .



There is also a text box on the banner at the top for you to add text. I added Online Wealth Vault, the title of the site , to that box as you can see from the screenshot on the right. You can choose the font,font color,bold ,color of text or centering buttons from the top to make any changes you want.







Now, all that's left is to add content and images to your site. If you have your content ready , then this will take you less than a minute to add them to the respective pages.Click on the "New Layout" button that you see at the top of the page.This will bring up several layouts with different dimensions as shown in the left image.I chose the 30-70 layout because I am going to add an image in the layout box on the left and add text to the layout on the right.




To add an image, I click on the green + sign on the left layout window and click image. This pops up a box where I can browse and upload an image from my computer.The alt text is the text your visitor will see if the image takes time to load or doesn't load. Use the align feature to position the image at the top, bottom or center.Once done, click on the save button to upload the image.All your images will be stored in "my image" inside wealthy affiliate so you don't have to upload the same image twice.

This is how the page presently looks. Notice that the image and the text have been added on different halves within the same layout.It took me less than a minute to get it done.Once you learn how to build websites and attempt it, you will find how easy and exciting designing a website can be.




Now I added a new 100% layout which appears just under the previous 30-70 layout.This is where I add my content for the website. You can see how it looks after I added the text to the page.Don't pay attention to the text on that site as I didn't put any thought into it.You can also add videos to your site the same way I added the image or you can select the url for a youtube video and show it on your website.You can add as many layouts, images,videos and screenshots to a page as you like.
