New Look and Feel for Bloggers

It's hardly been three days since the blogger dashboard got a totally new look and I am already loving it. Whoever suggested it surely has done a great personal favor to me. As a blogger, you never run out of ideas and keep experimenting with new blogs and my blogging expedition has been no different.

I have floated more than a few new blogs with what seemed like an inspirational idea at one point , but blame it on time constraint or lack of enough motivation towards that niche that a few blogs were left unattended.Now, whenever I visit my dashboard , I look at them with a feeling of guilt as if I am neglecting a baby I am responsible for.All that's about to change with the new blogger update because I can play hide and seek for a while with them.

With the new blogger interface, you can hide the blogs that you are not your primary platforms and by clicking on the "show all" button , you can bring them work as and when you need to work on them. Once you have chosen which blogs to hide, you can hide them all at once by clicking the " minimize" button.Saves me considerable amount of guilt , but that's not to say I have abandoned them forever.

The Blogger team has come up with a Features page just in case you were missing out on some of the cool features you could use on your blog.Another Blogger development I am excited about is Blogger's increased cacheability of CSS and Javascript because this is being done to help the pages load faster. I am not too big on graphics , but for the bloggers who are , this comes as a blessing.

For now, I will hang around the features page and update myself on anything that I missed out.Hopefully, the time that I save from the new functions can be used to build my baby blogs that need some special care to catch up with the rest.
